As a female, I know how hard it can be to travel in style without sacrificing comfort and practicality. That’s why I was thrilled to learn about Ogio’s new line of travel bags designed exclusively to meet the needs of female travelers. With my birthday right around the corner and an upcoming vacation to Florida, I chose to gift myself Ogio’s Hampton’s tote in Terra (pictured, bottom left).

While I have only used the Hamptons tote on one trip thus far, I’m really pleased with it’s durability and design. Since I am a slave to Mac products, I love that this bag has separate laptop and iPad/tablet pouches inside specifically designed to keep your electronic device safe while traveling. Although not evident from the pictures, the tote also has pockets on either side to store small valuables. The bag is tall enough to hold large magazines, books, and folders, a must for someone who always brings work on the road. Finally, hidden on the backside of the bag is another large pouch that holds pens, keys, mobile phones, miscellaneous items, and even has a jewelry pouch!
Arriving at the airport, I received an instant compliment from the TSA agent, who told me how much she loved the look of my tote. She said it was really cute and unique, and I had to agree. I hope that other travel companies will step up their designs to make innovative yet stylish travel products for women, but for now, I’m pleased to continue using this and other Ogio products designed specifically for the busy female traveler.

Like a Glove A luxurious ride for your iPad. In addition to a snug fit, each Loop sleeve features an Ultrasuede interior in Smoke Grey (the same Ultrasuede used on our Betty guitar/bass straps). This super soft material is used in high-end upholstery and won’t scratch, snag or pill, but will instead act as a polishing cloth to the iPad screen while in transit.
